"I could not ask for more than this time together. I could not ask for more than this time with you. Every prayer has been answered, every dream has come true. Right here in this moment is where I'm meant to be. . .These are the moments I'll remember all my life. I've found all I've waited for and I could not ask for more."

AHHHH so handsome!

The boys are so cute in their new easter suits. They love wearing suits to church for some reason and this year ended up with mostly matching outfits. Their jackets are close to the same, same pants, and same shoes. The only thing they chose different was the shirts and ties. Don't they look so handsome!

Happy Birthday Ethan, oh wait isn't it April 17th?

I know, I know, it's been over a month since Ethan's birthday, but with soccer, illnesses, Easter, and Conference, we just haven't had a saturday available to have Ethan's birthday party. Last year on his birthday we were moving and it was his year to have a party, so we had to have one this year. So after many weeks of asking "Are we haveing my party this week?" and "Am I going to have to have my party with Dylan?", we finally had a free saturday to have a party. This year instead of haveing a bunch of friends over, he wanted to go and see "Diary of a Wimpy Kid". So we allowed him to invite two friends and we headed out to the movies. I went in with really low expectations and the movie didn't turn out half bad. The kids on the other hand LOVED it!

After the movie, we got pizza and went to the park. The boys ate tons of pizza, except for Ethan who ate maybe half a piece, and guzzled sprite and root beer. Kaden was certain he could eat a whole pizza, so we challenged him to do it and he only made it through a measley five pieces.

After the pizza we had cupcakes. I got these really cool sparkler candles, I was so excited for them, but it was a little bit windy so they didn't even light.

This is Ethan pretending to blow out the candles for the sake of a picture.

Then it was present time. Dylan got him a frisbee and a sky ball catcher, Kaden got him a baseball bat and some balls, and Hunter got him a lego set. When we got home Ethan put the lego set together in under and hour.

Once all the food was eaten and presents opened, they went and played on the playground. We were at one of the only parks that has a merry go round. Some one was spinning them really fast and they soon got off litterally ready to loose their lunches!

Once everyone was feeling better, they tossed Ethan's new frisbee around.

Hunter was sitting in the middle of the game. I was shooting pictures trying to get some good ones and got this one where he got hit right in the head with the frisbee. Great shot for me, not so great for Hunter. He was ok though.

The boys had a great time for Ethan's birthday. Hopefully next time we'll get it done closer to his actual birthday. For us it didn't seem much different than a normal saturday going to the movies and dinner at the park. Happy late birthday Ethan!

And the score is. . . 1-0

Ethan just knew that this was going to be his game. He's been playing really great all season and has come a long way. After going a season and a half without scoring a goal, today he finally had his opportunity. It was near the end of the second quarter and Ethan got his break. He dribbled down the field and scored the one and only point of the game! He was so excited! Good job Ethan!

It's Spring!

I woke up in the middle of the night the other night and there was a breeze comeing in the window. For the first time this year the smell of spring was in the air! The birds were chirping and the wind was slightly blowing and the smell of new grass and leaves and new plants was in the air. This could quite possibly be my favorite time of year. As our yard is comeing close to being done, I can't wait for summer to come and barbeques in the backyard, parades, fireworks, camping trips and bike rides. What a fun time of year, especially after a very long and cold winter.

Dylan lost another tooth this week, his 6th one. The tooth fairy luckily left the correct amount this time, last time she shorted him a little. Ethan went on a field trip to the aquarium and got to pet sting rays and see penguins. He also had an important test on multiplication and division which he did great on. My boys are so smart and growing up so fast.

Soccer Days and Hockey Nights

Take one for the team Dylan!
The soccer season has officially started! This was Dylan's first game and he really made a great effort and did a good job (less socializing and more playing). Last fall he did a lot of running laps and telling the others what a good job they were doing, this year he is really getting out there and playing! Good job Dylan!

He dribbled the whole way down the field and almost made a goal!

At school the boys got free tickets to go and see a Grizzlies hockey game. I was sick and couldn't go, but they ended up seeing a friend of Ethan's from his class, Hunter. They had a really fun time!

Spring Break Day 3!

Finally, on the last day of spring break, it stopped snowing and was a balmy 50 degrees. The day turned out really nice so we headed off to spend an afternoon at the zoo!

The giraffes were inside today. The baby giraffe died a couple of weeks ago at only 6 months old.

Ok, so the boys and Kelsie love to climb on the animal statues and have their pictures taken.

Ethan was not happy at this point, he was starving!!! The cotton candy we got after this made everything all better. Nothing like a sack full of sugar to liven up the day!

We had a really fun spring break despite the snow and the cold. Now back to real life! And hopefully better weather!

Spring Break Day 2!

Milking a cow!

The boys had spring break this week. Our original plan was to fly kites, go on picnics, and play outside, but the mother nature had a different idea. The first day we had 7 inches of snow!!! So on day 2 we decided to do something inside and went to the treehouse museum. The boys had a great time dressing up, doing crafts, and just playing around. We had a great time.

Ride on Cowboy!!!

Dylan's turn!

Yee-Haw!!!

Kelsie wanted to get in on the action too.

They have a fun music room with xylophones and all sorts of drums.

Easter

The boys had fun on easter searching for easter eggs and getting an easter basket. What's more fun than finding a basket full of candy and 67 eggs!

They also got to have an easter egg hunt at grandma's house. No one hides eggs better than grandpa and Lane.

( I don't know how to make the picture go the other way)
